- Ongoing classes in Nihon Goshin Aikido. Gerry teaches
an ongoing set of group classes to those wishing to study the art and
advance through the ranking system. These classes are designed to build
real-life self defense skills, leadership, self-confidence, and

This is a 4-week introductory course in NGA, designed to bring an
entire group through the first level of classes, developing
self-defense, self-confidence, and group cohesion.
- Group self-defense workshops. Focused on effective
methods that can be learned quickly and used immediately. These range
from 4 hours to all-weekend seminars.
- Group Nihon Goshin Aikido seminars. Gerry is available
as a guest instructor at established martial arts schools to deliver
NGA seminars. The length of the seminar and cost depend upon the group
attending, and the goal of the session.
- Private lessons in Nihon Goshin Aikido. Gerry teaches
private lessons to a limited number of students. These are normally in
combination with one or more of the group sessions listed.
- Corporate seminars. Gerry offers seminars specifically
designed for co-workers in a corporate environment. These workshops
enhance personal safety, while helping develop trust and teamwork among
